Our founders Samantha Soni and her sister Bhavna Soni have been rescuing stray animals for a long time now keeping them at their home. It was increasingly impossible to keep all the rescues at their place so they decided to found Animal Kingdom welfare foundation so they can help even more strays. In doing so, they rented a small property in Malad West P3 studio. After sometime however the BMC announced to demolished the center. The two sister´s were heartbroken at the thought of losing the place they had lovingly built and the safe haven they had created for the animals. They knew that they couldn't abandon the animals that depended on them and looked for a new place in the area.
Finally, after looking for a long time and a challenging journey they found a great space in Malad West near malvani Church and put all their efforts into rebuilding the animal haven they always envisioned.
The relocation process involved extensive collaboration and effort. Our passionate team, alongside volunteers and animal lovers, worked diligently to transform the new location into a safe haven for stray animals and ensure that the relocation went well and the animals acclimated to the new environment greatly.
